How Does It Work?The ear is an amazing thing. We all know that it aids us by helping us hear, but it is slightly less known that the shell of the ear is home to many clusters of nerve endings. Within the shell of the ear, there are over 200 points that we can use. Now don’t worry, we won’t be using all 200 of them on you. It was discovered that the ear resembles an upside down fetus. Certain points on the ear correspond to different parts of the body and functions of the body.
Research has shown that by specific stimulation of these points, it helped reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and destructive habits and cravings. What this means in English is that by putting pressure on specific points on a person's ear, we are able to balance certain body functions, which helps that person relax and therefore relieve stress.
